When you own a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle you're covered. That's because every Certified Pre-Owned vehicle comes with an Extended New Car Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty for 12 months/12,000-miles.2 Please keep in mind there are some exclusions. Some examples are: the warranty does not include tire damage or wear, damage due to bedliners, damage due to insufficient or improper maintenance, damage due to contaminated or poor-quality fuel and misuse of the vehicle such as driving over curbs, overloading, racing or other competition (proper vehicle use is discussed in the CPO Owner's Manual).

Before any Chevrolet, Buick or GMC used vehicle earns the Certified Pre-Owned title, it must first meet all of our requirements. Before a Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle is listed or sold, GM requires dealers to complete all safety recalls. However, because even the best processes can break down, we encourage you to check the recall status of any vehicle at my.gm.com/recalls and SaferCar.gov.

One of the best things about owning a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle is that you'll know what your vehicle has been through. That's because we'll provide you with a Free CARFAX® Vehicle History Report to keep you in the know.
If you find a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in the dealer's inventory, you can ask the dealer or look up its service history and previous ownership records, so you can make sure the vehicle you purchase has a clean record. CARFAX®, the most trusted name in Vehicle History Reports, is our preferred provider.
